COVID-19 Update – OPEN
What are we doing for our children?
We are working hard to provide quality care for our students and continue to provide a safe environment for our staff and children alike. Our center stays on top of the CDC guidelines for child care and quickly implements changes. We are a small preschool by design which means we can act quickly to adapt to any changes required or recommended by the CDC, AZDHS and the Child Care Aware of America Organization.
Most of the guidelines recommended by the CDC were already in place for us. Below are a list of things we have implemented in addition to our program policies to prevent the spread of any infectious disease.
All staff and children entering the program have their temperature taken and documented each morning.
All staff and children wash their hands properly with soap and water upon entering the preschool.
LSP now has an Infectious Disease Response Plan in place.
We have added sanitizing high-touch areas including sinks, light switches, push bars, door handles, sign in pens, sign in computers, etc through out the day to our already rigorous cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing schedule.
All toys, manipulatives, puzzles, etc used in the classrooms throughout the day are properly sanitized after every use.
Added outdoor play time for all classrooms in intervals as weather permits.
Our preschool is our family and we will continue to make every effort to ensure the safety and well being of all of our students and staff.
