Questions

Everything families want to know before enrolling — from daily schedules and safety to curriculum and communication. If you don't see your question here, just give us a call.

Schedule & Hours

School hours are 8:15 AM – 2:45 PM. Tuition covers 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, which includes a 15-minute window on each end for drop-off and pickup. After-school care runs from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and is available for an additional hourly charge. Hours apply to both our Preschool and Pre-K programs. Summer Camp runs its own schedule — see the Summer Camp page for details.

Tuition is due on the first of each month, from August through May. Families also have the option to pay for the entire school year upfront if they prefer.

Classroom & Curriculum

Each classroom is led by a lead teacher and a teacher assistant. Student seating is capped at 15, with possible overlap seating of no more than 18. This applies across our Preschool and Pre-K programs, and keeps class sizes small enough for every child to receive genuine individual attention.

We use Core Knowledge for Preschool as our foundation — a nationally recognized, research-backed curriculum that builds knowledge sequentially across all subject areas. It underpins both our Preschool (Ages 3–4) and Pre-K (Ages 4–5) programs.

This is supplemented with two specialized programs:

  • Spalding — a structured, phonics-based approach for reading and writing instruction
  • Singapore Math concrete concepts — hands-on number awareness and early mathematical thinking

We use the Behavior Replacement approach. Rather than using time-outs or punitive measures, we identify the unwanted behavior and work individually with each child to offer and practice a replacement behavior. The goal is to help children understand and regulate themselves — not simply to stop a behavior.

Safety & Communication

Our building uses a double-locked door system. Enrolled families are given their own unique door code to access the building. Visitors without a code must ring the doorbell and are verified by staff before being granted access to secondary areas. Only authorized individuals can enter the classrooms.

We use the Brightwheel platform for all parent communication. Through Brightwheel, you can expect:

  • Daily photos of your child throughout the day
  • Immediate incident reports if anything comes up
  • Nap time records (for children who rest)
  • Real-time messaging with your child's teacher

What to Bring

No — all meals and snacks come from home. We ask families to pack healthy options that are easy for your child to manage independently.

Please send your child with the following each day:

  • Backpack with a complete change of clothes in a labeled bag
  • 12 oz labeled water bottle
  • Healthy morning snack
  • Healthy afternoon snack
  • Packed lunch
  • Crib-size sheet and blanket (if your child naps)
